COOKIE POLICY
1. USE OF COOKIES ON THE CARYSE WEBSITE
The Caryse website uses GOOGLE ANALYTICS, a web analytics service provided by Google, which allows us to measure and analyse how users browse our website through the use of cookies.
Cookies are files that may be downloaded to your device when you visit a website. Their purpose is to provide the User with faster access to the website’s services and to personalise those services by making available information that is, or may be, of interest to each User based on how they use those services.
The Caryse website uses cookies to make browsing easier and to optimise the User’s experience as much as possible. Cookies are linked exclusively to an anonymous User and their computer, and they do not provide references that would allow the User’s personal data to be identified or inferred.
The User may configure their browser to notify them of, and reject, the installation of cookies from the Caryse website, without affecting the User’s ability to access the Content. However, please note that, in any case, the quality and performance of the website may be reduced.
2. TYPES OF COOKIES AND THEIR PURPOSE
Depending on the entity managing them, cookies can be classified into the following groups:
First-party cookies: cookies sent to the User’s device from a computer or domain managed by the website owner itself and from which the service requested by the User is provided.
Third-party cookies: cookies sent to the User’s device from a computer or domain that is not managed by the website owner, but by another entity that processes the data obtained through the cookies.
Depending on how long they remain active on the User’s device, cookies are divided into:
Session cookies: cookies designed to collect and store data while the User is accessing a website.
Persistent cookies: cookies in which the data remains stored on the device and may be accessed and processed for a period defined by the party responsible for the cookie, which may range from a few minutes to several years.
Depending on their purpose, cookies are classified as follows:
- Technical cookies
- Personalisation cookies
- Analytics cookies
- Advertising cookies
- Behavioural advertising cookies
In the case of the CARYSE website, the cookies used come from GOOGLE ANALYTICS. These include:
utma: a cookie that generates a unique user ID. It is used to count how many times a user visits the site, as well as to record the first and last time they visited the website.
utmb and utmc: cookies used to calculate when a session has ended. The utmb cookie records the time of arrival on the page. The utmc cookie checks whether the session should remain open or whether a new session should be created.
utmz: a cookie that records the origin of the user and their keywords.
ASP.NET_SessionId: a cookie that stores a unique identifier for each session, making it possible to link data required to enable current browsing.
cookies_policy: manages the User’s consent regarding the use of cookies on the website, in order to remember which users have accepted them and which have not, so that users who have already accepted them are not shown the related notice at the top of the page.
Unam: the website allows users to share our content via email, Twitter, Facebook, etc. In order for this service to work properly, cookies such as Unam are used. This cookie counts the number of unique users who share content and the number of page views generated from the resulting share activity.
Important: unless the User registers for a CARYSE service, the cookie will never be associated with any personal data that could identify them. The cookies used will only be used for statistical purposes to help improve the management of the website for users who visit it.
3. MANAGEMENT OF THE COOKIE POLICY BY THE USER
